San Antonio MissionsThe San Antonio Missions continue a strong baseball tradition that has defined San Antonio for decades. As the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, the San Antonio Missions have proven themselves as the team to beat in the Texas League division of Minor League Baseball.

The team plays in the Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, located on the west side of San Antonio. Shade covers most of the 9,000 seats in the stadium, and there's also room for 6,000 more fans on the grassy berms around the field.

The regular season runs from April through September and features plenty of fun for the entire family. Two mascots – Ballapeno and Henry the Puffy Taco – keep things lively between innings and at-bats.

The franchise is also known for its attention-grabbing promotions, including a "Used Car Giveaway" near the end of the regular season. The park includes plenty of concession stands with favorite ballpark fare like hotdogs, giant pretzels and funnel cakes.
