Boerne Community Theatre lives up to its role in providing unique, quality live theater to the area since 1991. Known for "Quality Theater in the Hill Country," the Boerne Community Theatre presents five regular productions each season, "A Christmas Carol" every December, two Teen Troupe shows, 3 children's drama camps and a Spring Special.

The ambitious schedule demonstrates the Boerne Theatre's commitment to the arts in the Texas Hill Country, just outside of San Antonio.

The 100-seat theater is as intimate as the city of Boerne itself, which enjoys a growing reputation as a welcoming enclave for artists. In fact, the Boerne Community Theatre is the only theater in the Boerne area. Directors, actors and stage volunteers from areas like San Antonio, New Braunfels and Kerrville support the annual productions.

Also of note, the Boerne Community Theater is the only theater in the Hill Country to do an annual production of "A Christmas Carol." Although many actors and volunteers return each year to stage the production, a different person each year is selected to play Scrooge. The annual change continues to pique interest among actors and patrons alike.
